EDC, based in Portland, Oregon, created, designed and developed this latest version. The 'N Touch II was unveiled at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Jose, CA in August 2000. It's sleek black structure and rugged rubber handles drew praise, but its real attention-grabber was the unique and compact frame. Removable from its base, it can sit in its cradle for easy desktop use or you can pick it up and take it with you-there's no need to transfer information back and forth from laptops and palmtops to your desktop computer. It can function as all three.
