EDC acquires three new vendorship approvals 

PORTLAND, Ore., February 8, 2002--Portland-based Engineering Design Consultants, Ltd. (EDC) became an approved vendor today for Blackhawk Automotive Plastics, and Freightliner LLC subsidiaries Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation and Western Star Trucks. EDC employees have already begun working on-site at all three companies. 

EDC currently has numerous employees working on-site at Freightliner LLC in Portland, Ore., and at Freightliner subsidiary American LaFrance. EDC also currently has employees working on-site at Gulfstream Aerospace, Medtronic Physio-Control, Warn Industries, Dura Convertibles, and American Sunroof Corporation. 

These new vendorship approvals will help EDC further extend its business reach internationally. Blackhawk Automotive Plastics is located in Detroit, Mich.; Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation is located in Gaffney, S.C.; and Western Star Trucks is based in Kelowna, British Columbia. EDC now maintains business holdings in Oregon, California, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Southwest, and Canada.
